| In January, we were still in Fort Worth, Texas. We enjoyed the New Year with the Smith girls and the Woods family. With the great weather, we spent time roaming downtown Fort Worth with friends. Sadly, we also had our last Park Day with All Hands In. |
| February was moving month. Going home was bittersweet. Saying goodbye to our Texas friends was so hard, but coming home to family was great. Transitioning from city life to country life began. We were also blessed with a visit from the Woods family! |
| In March we got to enjoy spring time in Tennessee with fresh eyes. It was gorgeous. We also spent time settling in with family and adjusting to life on a farm. |
| April was a month for for going to Nashville to visit my side of the family. There was strawberry picking, museum visiting, and seeing family that we had not seen in quite a while. We also celebrated Easter and spent a lot of time at Nanny and Papaw's. |
| In May, my babies turned twelve. Our garden was taking off, and blackberries began to come in...early! We also did a lot of cleaning up around the property we were renting. |
| June brought lots of produce from the garden, new baby chicks, and visitors from Texas. |
| July rolled around and we got to have our traditional July 4th celebration for the first time in 2 years! We also did some hiking, turkey watching and eating of snowballs. There were also tomatoes coming out of our ears! |
| In August, the record heat killed off what was left of the garden. I did get some canning done though. We also began plans to build a house. The clearing of the property began. |
| This month was filled to the brim. We broke ground on the house, I took the kids go-carting, we started Thursday Connection co-op, and Tom and I took our anniversary trip. |
| October was even busier! We had the Anderson-Cooper-Herrell reunion, the Herrell family weenie roast, Halloween, and more! Tom and I also celebrated our TWENTY year anniversary! |
| November saw a lot of progress on our house, and a lot of time with family. We had Thanksgiving at our house with some family. |
| Now it is the last day of December. We have seen our oldest turn 16 and get her permit. All sorts of Christmas celebrations, a trip to Atlanta...whew. Busy! Our house is coming along nicely, and really looks like a house now. |
I can't wait to see what 2013 brings!
What an exciting year! I love how you did this...I may have to borrow the idea and create a yr in review post as well.
